Connection to Country is deeply intertwined with our cultural, spiritual, and everyday lives. As societies modernise, maintaining traditional practices and knowledge can be challenging, this means we have to adapt our ways of teaching and learning. This teaching and learning now isn't just for Indigenous people, its for all Australian's to embrace.
Acknowledging traditional custodians of the land and incorporating cultural protocols into public events and spaces helps show respect for Indigenous heritage. This artwork is a visual representation of that connection. No matter what culture or background, we connect to the people and companies we work with, and most importantly, connect to the land we work on. The land we work on has a rich history and knowledge from our former ancestors that we can all learn from.
